Stops the neighbours borrowing gear....My neighbour is the only one I know of who still has 21 spline shafts on new implements! I think he hasn't realised that the lever in the cab changes the speed of the shaft without changing the stub!
He has 3 machines less than 7 years old, all with 21 spline shafts! He has 20 and 30 series deeres!
Deere were handy, pop out sir clip and turn around.Bottom one looks like a Deutz alright. I had a 6 to 21 spline adapter somewhat, don't know the day nor the hour I last saw it never mind used it
As I was typing it I thought that would be someone's reply!😅Stops the neighbours borrowing gear....
You need to select 1000rpm on the tractor and run the pto at 1000rpmLads I’m mowing for a friend today with his mower and my tractor. His mower is 1000 pto I’ve never used one so what rpm do I Rev the tractor to drive the mower? Can’t get through to him on the phone!!!
Thanks for the reply 👍👍You need to select 1000rpm on the tractor and run the pto at 1000rpm
👍👍Most Masseys you can bring up PTO speed on the screen by cycling through through the display options. Then as above, but I would tend to very slightly over rev, till the pto is doing 1,070 or so.
It depends on the mower, a Class contour will be 1000 PTO but runs fine at 850 on the shaft. Most Masseys you can bring up PTO speed on the screen by cycling through through the display options. Then as above, but I would tend to very slightly over rev, till the pto is doing 1,070 or so.
