Are they top top quality weanlings though, would love to be able to afford them, as their performance is just on a different level.
Just breed them yourself and keep a closed loop system.

If the taxman is on your back a handful of heifers from a special sale would get you moving in the right direction. A bull with a red rosette from a sale then to keep the calves coming.
I don't know much about slaughter weights or kill out % but is it possible to make money from that first one on the list, 400kg at €2560, given the price in the factory thread is €6.50

When I was out foreign on holoday the price of an importes 700kg finished irish limousin bullock was 5000 euro when they were 2000 here.
Why can't we get prices like that here or even a bit closer to it, are the factories making a bigger margin that they let on to be
Bought a few boxes of striploin of a processor I deal with about 3 weeks ago. Price I paid was about €1 - €2 per kilo more, than it was when beef was €4 a kilo a few years ago. The middle man/wholesaler/supermarkets are taking a huge margin

Why would you keep them in the shed at that age
I done a good bit of land reclaiming this past few years, but I never got the fencing done, I'm only getting a chance to start at that now, so it's easier to keep them, I don't have anywhere to put them outside.
From a moral point of view I'd sell them on to someone who wants animals for grazing, I'd hate to see stock that young inside during the summer, from a financial point of view you'd probably have been better off selling them sooner.
