Bald spots

Evening, took a third cut of silage about 10 days ago but before that I sprayed it for buttercup and dandelions it also killed any clover. Would these bald dead looking spots be where there was clumps of weeds and clover patches. Would it be likely the grass will come back or would I be better sowing new clover when I’m sowing potash.

It's probably too late in the year for clover now, soil temps are dropping and clover could do with temperatures above 8 or 9 minimum to get well established and build up a good root system for next year. I'd say soil won't be long getting down to that at this time of year.

A good share will survive alright but I reckon you might be better getting slurry out in those fields and encourage tillering of the grass left around those spots?

My opinion of that is , the ryegrass has died out in these patches. It will green up , but its either creeping bent or maybe annual meadow grass that will grow there. It will green up anyway .
