Bare reseed ***pics now added***

Im worried that the bare patches will allow weeds to grow, would I be able to put some seed over the barest places and just roll it in? Or would it need harrowed first?

Ya you could just scatter out some extra seed on the bare spots and roll it in should be ok. But you be surprised when growth hits they might not look that bare

I'd say it's just a soil type issue. (heavy clay soil)
As soon as conditions would allow I'd go with a bit of 10 10 20 or 18 6 12 and as the lads have said keep grazing it tight, with the lightest stock.
Don't cut it this year if you can.

Even put in a strip wire to keep them down there when conditions are good and back to the better grass if not good.
