I think 3 to 4 years is a bit much, this is the price range I go by and get any where from 1 to 2 years outa them... they take as much abuse as any, as it's not overly expensive you don't be to bothered.... now I will admit I have recently went from a cheap new phone to an older ( hand me down as I was stuck) but better phone and I have to admit there's some difference... my last cheap phone could do Google pay, much slower, no touch I'd camera was fairly poor and been honest he camera was a big thing... when I break this one it should be rather interesting.

I've my current A02s exactly 3 years and no signs of an end to it. Gave €160 for it in January 2020.

Biggest downside of a budget phone is definitely the camera.
