It has passed here now. It absolutely lashed for one shower, water running out gaps onto road in places.

Was just after scraping up the walk ways for the cow shed to the parlour. Place is squeeky clean now after the rain

I'd very safely say today's the worst day of the winter so far. It tipped it down all day up until 20 mins ago. It wouldn't be Christmas unless the weather was shite I suppose.

Crossed the bridge in Ballyforan yesterday and don't think I have ever seen the fields as flooded as they were. Very heavy rain back into athlone too. Thankfully we escaped the worst of it all.

Don't know about anyone else but this closed season has flew by, not open till end of the month but still loads of room luckily.
