At this rate there will probably be no early caving bonus this coming spring they’re absolutely hemorrhaging money. How has this been so badly managed at board level by DG
An early calving bonus will be the least of our troubles,a lot of product on hand bought dear and trying to sell on a falling market up to €400 a ton under break even apparently.
Rumours/yarns doing the rounds the last few days of another processor ready to step in.

Realistically there’s only 2 in the country who could and they’re hardly in a position to take on DG right now are they??

What or where has it gone all wrong for Dairygold. The new CFO landed earlier in the year and has already walked, that’s a terrible look

What was the base price in October 22?
Just checked it was 58 cent. How did you manage to get it to 24 cent over the base?
I'm away from home for a few days so can't check the statement. The app shows some supplier bonus. Arra have a knack of adding any bonus or feed rebate to the milk cheque thus showing false c/ltr.

In the grand scheme of things would it matter? Sure it would be a help, but starting out with a herd of heifers, they difference wasn't going to make you up.
About 250k i think it cost me between milk price and building costs.

Yes and too soon for Kerry to make such a move after KDI transition in the past year so tirlan only likely suitor in my view.
Kerry haven’t an arse in their trousers either and tbh I’d nearly rather spill it than let them take it.

I remember years ago there was rumours in dg were in trouble. Was in the mart one day and met a lad I know, who supplies bandon. He says ' I know of a lad who got the milk cheque and it wasn't a dairygold one, it was 2 cheques from 2 other co-ops.'
' Really ' said I, That's unusual because they have switched to direct credit with a couple years'.

Alot of the yarns get legs, but there could be a grain of truth in there.
We’ll see next year when the tide goes out who’s been swimming with no clothes,I expect DG won’t be the only outfit in trouble.
If there isn’t a price recovery by next summer they’ll be all under serious pressure, not to mention carrying a heap of dept on the trading side.
