Don't know what's going on there now, they were importing Kuhn and Kongskilde until maybe 5 or 6 years ago. A son of Jim's is/was running the show now.

I think the father met Jim lately, I haven't seen or heard of Noel for a long time.Didn't know if they were still on the go or not, a name you wouldn't hear much of now if at all.
Treanors, Co. Monahan , made lots of trailers, transport boxes, rollers, bale handling stuff.2 that are one the remains of a bale handler frame here at home . First is Aherns garage . Second maybe the crowd that made the bale handler

A restaurant now , same name . Passed through there July 19.
Barely remember it as not often down that way who was that?It would remind you of the zetor dealer in killeagh.
Was it nearish the thatch pub? Across the road maybe?Fitzgibbon
They are still selling new Zetors I think.Fitzgibbon
When you mention Killeigh I think of the IH dealer S.M. Hurst in Killeigh, Co. Offaly, company dissolved 26th March 1999 so almost 22 years ago.It would remind you of the zetor dealer in killeagh.
Was Sam not a JD dealer too ?When you mention Killeigh I think of the IH dealer S.M. Hurst in Killeigh, Co. Offaly, company dissolved 26th March 1999 so almost 22 years ago.

Never heard of an Ursus titan before 1974 is the year
don,t know but its a big tractor, i wonder was the titan a special edition like the trojan ? a different colour and a few extras thrown in but the titans were 4wd against the trojan being 2 wdIsn't that just a 1204?
Tom is.either 67 or 68 now . @diesel power and myself would be friendly with his brother through a vintage club , plus he supplied us with readymix for years , and another brother spread lime around here for years .
I would have often bought the snap ties from him , but haven't used 5 x 2 pans since 08 as far as I remember. I have one of their landlevellers for years , and yard scraper about 3 years .
I am fairly sure that they dont do any repair work now , such as that silage trailer you mentioned.
The gearbox went bang on the topper yeaterday evening so I rang Tom to see would he have one in the stock. His wife answered and said yes theres one here alright. I headed down to their yard and she had it left out ready for me. Before I could introduce myself she I know who you are your a bit like your father only he wasnt quite as heavy as you are
I bought a new set of blades while I was there and headed home and fitted them. The topper is back working again this evening and didnt cost a fortune to get it back going again which isnt that common any more in todays world. Not bad service for a machine bought in 1996.
Sam Hurst was a good friend of my father. They were both IH dealers. When you mention Killeigh I think of the IH dealer S.M. Hurst in Killeigh, Co. Offaly, company dissolved 26th March 1999 so almost 22 years ago.
