Looks like changes are ahead for land owner's who receive grants that they must now control deer number's'
Or loss the grant
Please be careful if you let shooter's on your land make sure they are insured and hold the formal training qualification's need for deer to enter the food chain
for humans if fit to or as pet food so no wastage.

Is this the UK or Ireland ? . Can you use Deer traps like in ancient times.

If anyone wants a hand with deer control, I’m a licenced and insured hunter. Can travel anywhere in the mid / east Leinster area.

In the same boat my permission does not hold deer on the land and i have been shooting there over 15 yrs now.
Know how jt can be. I have ground I’ve never seen deer on, land I hadn’t seen deer on until the last few years and then know areas where they were few are now creeping up on numbers.

Tried everything to attract them salt blocks molasses camera.
I know they are a mile up the road where the owner lives.
But they have a no shooting policy on anything including foxes.
Pheasant's walk around as they own the place .
Hundreds of tree rats.
