I bought mine today,£97 and £84 a ton cheaper than this time last year
It’s been dropping steadily for the most of a year now. It will bottom at some stage, probably sooner than later. Is it bottomed out or will it go more.
jesus they really are different in carlow alrightWould lads that buy fertilizer for tax reasons be the same lads that pay their contractor a year in advance to avoid tax .
Near a third cheaper,,,, robbing cunts
I use the grain myself, grain market price means nothing to meI don’t understand this (I have no involvement in selling fertiliser).
Why do you refer to a supplier in that way? It’s the market - if the market price is up then you pay more if you want to buy it. If you don’t want to buy it then you don’t have to, there’s nobody forcing you to buy or use the fertiliser.
When the price of grain went high in 2018, did you worry about the people who were paying the high price for grain?
Your really thinking like a fendt owner nowIs it possible to buy fertiliser forward now for spring 2021 but not take delivery until the end of this year?
Your really thinking like a fendt owner now
I would be worried about the merchant or Co-op going bankrupt with your money .No, just thinking of value.
If one could buy CAN close to €200, I’d always consider it as very good value.
Was wondering that myself, you would imagine we could be in for a good price this harvest which only means one thing next for next year's inputs If we all took a chance and forward bought there'd be a surge in Fendt sales next yearNo, just thinking of value.

Buy now take delivery now use it in ‘21.I would be worried about the merchant or Co-op going bankrupt with your money .
I buy mostly bulk . I would have to put a rock hammer on the JCB 3D to dig it out next year .Buy now take delivery now use it in ‘21.
Fair enough.I buy mostly bulk . I would have to put a rock hammer on the JCB 3D to dig it out next year .
Fair enough.
I have often bought fertiliser and not taken delivery of it for 6 months, i reckon I could push this out to 12 months, but would have to be new season stockIs it possible to buy fertiliser forward now for spring 2021 but not take delivery until the end of this year?
Got quoted 230 today for s nett on pallets from two merchants .... one said it’s going up in feb and the other said he heard nothing about a price rise ..... one said 10:10:20 at 355 but there’s some more in him waiting for the other to come back to me. Don’t think compounds will change much but maybe nitrogen might move up
1 unit of N is worth €8.50 per tonne so 26% V 27% is a nice difference as you say. I’d also happily pay a premium for CCF Sul can, even better again is CCF compound but that’s very rareIs that for 27% N?
When comparing fertiliser prices, we should be mindful of the units of N not just the price per ton.
It is with 3.8 sulphurIs that for 27% N?

Bit of an error made on my above post lads. Add a tenner to those prices. Apologies to anyone who may have gone using the above prices to haggle.Priced up my fertilizer this evening.
