Agh nash… ya slipped up…. Ya should of magnified the picture up another bit. Looks more like a walsh barrow🕵🏼♂️
No inside knowledge, just spent 7/8 years looking out the back window at one.You probably had insider knowledge.
I didn't have the strongest glasses on.
It's a Quovine. Spelling is a bit iffy there I think.Is she a discordon @diesel power ?
Ran by a hydraulic motor?Correct BarryView attachment 155942
Oh shes a tinemaster? It's a Quovine. Spelling is a bit iffy there I think.
Aye it was the easiest way to drive the barrow for the job I'm using it for. 10 minutes would have it back on a tractor doing it's intended job.Ran by a hydraulic motor?
Quivogne. It's a Quovine. Spelling is a bit iffy there I think.
That looks a bit more like it alright 👍.Quivogne.
Nearly as bad as Qashqai .Quivogne.
10-1-1-4-1-2-1-1, get the Q on a treble if possible. Qashqai would be better. How many points would that be worth in scrabble?!!

Is that the forward/reverse hub.Once again it's that time of the year,
Open the Ford up and see what's wrong.
In fairness to it it's never been split and the flex plate is breaking up. It started leaking oil, a lot of oil during the harvest and a local authority on these 40 series categorically stated it was the flex plate failing was the issue. He was correct. Over 12k hours on it now. One of the packs in the front is I reckon within a thousand hours of failing also. The teeth are gone sharp on the friction discs. If you zoom in on the last picture you'll see what I mean. The teeth should be square with sharp corners.

It's a manual shuttle tractor. Tbh I'm not sure what the second pack does. The worn one is I assume the clutch. Is that the forward/reverse hub.
There was no manual shuttle in those from memory, even the sl had F/R clutch packsIt's a manual shuttle tractor. Tbh I'm not sure what the second pack does. The worn one is I assume the clutch.
Mechanical shuttle I should have said. I don't see why it would need a forward and reverse pack but I'm open to correction on that. There was no manual shuttle in those from memory, even the sl had F/R clutch packs
If you press the button on the F/R lever you can change without pressing the clutch pedal.Mechanical shuttle I should have said. I don't see why it would need a forward and reverse pack but I'm open to correction on that.
True but there's still a clutch pack disengaged to allow the direction change. I was asking yer man who I got the parts off about it today and he said there's a much bigger pack further into the gearbox that acts as the clutch. If you press the button on the F/R lever you can change without pressing the clutch pedal.
4 now. Tbh only the one above or the 520 will be working. The other will be the parts bin. Whichever is the shooker will be junked. How many MF combines is that now.....a Wexican combine too? I do recall seeing a MF 625 Super 2 parked up in a shed very near to the rock of Dunamase that hadn't been used in several years. I bought a drill from him and he reckoned no one but the Byrnes would be interested in the 625 but it looked OK to me.

Oh lord no. They'll be with us to the grave. Theirs or ours, whichever comes first. Are the 2 865s gone so?
