Float valves for water troughs

Can anyone recommend a decent float valve for water troughs? The Jobe Megaflow looks good but I don't see any supplier that stocks it in Ireland.

Philmac bottom entry. Have a dozen of them in the sheds here, some over 10 years. The floats have zero protection. They have never given an issue. About €50 a piece. Everything else gives issues

It comes with the ballcock assembly, suppose if you want to drain it for cleaning purposes or in wintertime, but in winter you'd drain the pipes too.

Excellent, thank you. I didn't see them in dairygold on Saturday but will try again once I'm out the other side of covid.

Local plumbing man is where I get mine.

Go out of your way to find them. They last years problem free

I didn't unfortunately. I went with a high flow jfc trough in the end for most uses. I have a philmac float valve as above for use in another trough.

Murphy Troughs used to supply Jobe valves with their troughs a few years back, think they were made in Australia. Maybe a phonecall to them might help locate some.
