I know the feeling, had something similar happen with a farmers daughter from Wexford a few years ago...

Few pics of the first tractor I bought new back in 1989 if anyone interested... This 7610 SQ series 2 was fitted with the old crash box as in 5000 / 67-7700 tractors. It cost 17k and was supposed to come with a pewter model at the time sporting its own registration number, something I never received sadly...

It's still here today although been in hibernation some years now.. Hard to believe 31 years ago we were paid to chop good dry straw as nobody required it !

An unusual one, 7400's were a conversion with the bubble cab think they were done by McGees in Ashbourne and only 2wd.

That was my understanding aswell

They were done in Belgium using the Eva belly plate because the engine block wasn’t stressed.

Looks like an Eva belly plate to me.

I’d be surprised if they didn’t buy the belly plate in,would have been a readily amount of tractors about with porous blocks ripe for a transplant or a new engine.

It was 17k + vat. Next new tractor I bought was a 4wd 7840 sle in 92 when they were first released. This was 23k + vat.

30% seems generous for those front tyres I would think. Could do without the extra Turbo boosting feature too....
