Ford/New Holland

seems to be reading the speed ok above 10kph or something and messing around below 10k ish. Im guessing she takes the speed reading upto a certain speed from the radar then and changes to a sensor somewhere above that speed?

Tm here with very close to 15k hours on it

With a very good maintenance plan.
Owner drivers and keeping on top of the small things.
Is there any reason not to expect 30k hours out of a yoke?

I have heard someone say that the heads in those TMs should be looked over at 10k hrs, however the rest of the engine is supposed to be capable of 20k hrs. One for your local friendly engine specialist.

Iv been looking for a seal kit for the power steering cylinder of TW-15, ZF APL-355, the NH online parts does not list the correct cylinder type , does anyone know the correct part numbers or where I can source the correct seal kit, mine has 11 seals in total as shown in the workshop manual. Any help would be great. IMG_20210823_215705.jpgIMG_20210823_215655.jpg

I had the same problem as there is no kit . I rang Foster in Arklow and called out the serial number of the axle and he finished the number off from memory.
He got me all the seals and posted them to me.
A proper parts man .

Flick onto messicks .com. Shows the breakdown of the ram there and part numbers . Don’t see a seal kit for it only individual seals

If you can get the seal numbers/sizes Abbey seals will have them at a fraction of the cost of a kit.

Thanks Bog Man, an absolute gentleman to deal with, couldn't do enough for me, we didn't get everything nailed down but must have rang me 5 or 6 times today and emailed parts lists, My local NH didn't even entertain looking for part numbers, and we have bought a good few new and S/H tractors over the years off them.

I did go through the online parts but with my axle anyway it seams to share some parts with the 345 and i only found that out from talking to William, so i would have actually ended up ordering the wrong seals.

Yea i could do that but I put a value on a man that went out of his way to help and even it it does cost a bit more, he'll be on the end of the fone for advice again im sure.

He usually has everything by ten O clock the next morning . His premises is somewhere up the back of Shelton Abbey and has to be one of the smallest New Holland dealers you will ever see . He generates a lot of Good will for New Holland because he is so helpful .

He's a long time at them, he was a mechanic in the Abbey Service in Wicklow Town. When he started first his premises was on the side of the N11 in Barndarrig. I nearly bought a TS115A off him in 2004, they were only launched and I was waiting for one to come into the country to have a look at it. He got one eventually and I went to have a look at it one evening but it wouldn't go into 1st gear and I got windy. He was by far the most interested in selling me a tractor at the time though, and a nice man, I often meant to go back to try to deal again but circumstances conspired against me and anyway the yellow on the NH overalls was too much of a clash with the navy & green so I would have had to overhaul the entire wardrobe.

a keen sales man that learnt the trick in the abbey, if a lad seems interested drop it into the yard and wait for the hook to catch 😂 have seen him call out 3 filter numbers from the top of his head when there could be variations then go to check on the computer and he’d have been spot on with the first one.

should the tm's have some form of an isolator on the ignition switch? things like the radio stays on when the switch is off. theres a battery isolator under the tombstone we use to stop the tractor from draining battery but it get fierce annoying now turning it on or off

MXM range command here that wont move tonight.
Starts and flashes the light for every gear ok but then the lcd display where it tells you b5,c6 etc goes blank and tractor will not move or display forward/reverse etc.
Any ideas?

Something similar happened to me on the 6070, the control fuse at the battery had become corroded and created a high resistant connection, not sure if it's the same in the case but worth looking at.
