Ford/New Holland

I dont recall a fuse anywhere about the battery on her?
Again not sure on the case, NH have it on the outward side of the battery, part no 7 in the diagram, if you have lost all electronics lift etc it could be a good first port of call.

Thank you.
I will have a look in the morning as she is sitting out in the field and i dont want to draw attention to her tonight as the neighbours wouldnt be great.

Right, got a look at her this morning and it was no.14 fuse- transmission control supply and suspended front axle.
Ive got her back to the yard but this fuse keeps blowing so need to sort why.

Too busy for me.
The main controller looks good, as does the screen, the lift controller looks too far forward to me and their are way too many other functions and buttons and most of them too alike.
If you were going across a bumpy field you’d have a tough time managing to press the correct button as opposed to one of the nearby buttons!

It’s very similar to the Fendt layout, you can move the lift controller to the spool controls or joystick on them,I presume the NH is the same.

Is the front mouse controller not the lift?

I assume the one just beside the main lever is the lift but I also guess that the buttons just to the right of the forward/neutral/reverse are lift and lower buttons with the further 4 being spools? What I’m not sure is the rabbit/hare along side a roller? Is it that you can adjust the speed finely with the roller and set 2/3 speeds and jump between them with the rabbit/hare? There’s also a cruise control button under them.

Yes that’s the lift, with can-bus control it’s easy to move the function to another place.
It's a far cry from the 8x2 constant mesh between your legs!

I doubt I'd even get it started....
35 years since I mowed the whole farm for silage with a Ford 5000 and a km22 mower,I’ve earned the comfort of a decent modern cab, that said I could make that 5000 sing,I could drive it in my sleep.

Was in Basildon during the week for a drive.

a lot of very nice improvements, a lot of customer feedback taken in on these.

few things i noted, better design of a lot of cab features etc, better panel fit and finish, car like integration with the armrest,
All very focused on what an operator wants,
Doesn’t feel anything like the outgoing T7 HD

some photos attached, i have videos but not sure they are worth uploading

Best improvement is the cooler box but doesn't mean much for the average Joe's with the swb t7. FFS case have em in the smaller case's

Case doesn’t have a cooler box, the dealers sell it as that, but it doesn’t have a lid on it for a reason.

there is a kit available from NH dealers to mount a 12v coolbox in the right hand foot well beyond the foot throttle if you really want one.

If I remember correctly back in the early 2000's I called into a NH dealership in Collon, co.Louth.
Who would that have been? I remember Armstrongs where in the Naul at the time.

North East Farm Machinery, Armstrongs were involved in it I think with Richard Davis who was into Renaults.

The white rear wings is a bit too much IMO, but the others do look well, possibly white bonnet grills tho would tie it back. The grills on the one here have often looked white after rolling barley and I think it kind of suits it
