One blade pointing 12 oclock and 6 oclock, hold it still and rotate the other blade to 9 oclock and 3 oclock positions. Timed not to hit each other.

Sorry, I miss read your post. Thought you meant 3 rotors. You need to set the blades so a blade on one rotor will pass half way between the blades on the other rotor.

My previous reply stands then set the middle to 6 o'clock and the outside ones to quarter past 9 (or quarter to 3 ).

Hispec belt toppers had 3 rotors with the middle one in front of the others, with a little overlap, so they couldn't hit rotors and didn't need to be timed.

We have a little one here for a compact tractor like that, it's only about 3 foot wide.
