What about the Lincoln, seeing as they’re specialists in lubrication as opposed to other tool brands.

Have a Milwaukee nearly 2years was going fine, would recommend it until 2weeks ago not pumping atall :undecided: :weld:

Ya good gun, was pumping grease into a blocked nipple. Not the guns fault was mine! Pity they didn’t make one for the 500g screw on cartridges :eek3:

Would you rate them better than dewalt i have dewalt stuf and cant fault it. If a blocked nippel fu..s them up wouldnt encourage ya to buy one. Its not possible to get one that takes the screw in cartridges is it

Why would you want to spend that sort of money on a grease gun, of all the jobs going it isn't too difficult without adding the extra weight and complexity of a battery gun. :scratchhead:

Only good for bushings anyway, wouldn’t like them for bearings or UJ’s no feel.

Just there must be 15 or 20 nipples on hedgecutter and has to be done every day just thought it would speed up the job already have air greaser so probably dont really need battery greaser but hedgecutter often is away from home for a few days at a time and battery gun wud b handy

I have the 20v Lincoln poweluber here, had a 14v version up to last year, but sent that one into the quarry!!! One of my favourite tools of all time, no bother greasing any bearing or uj. Each stroke provides about half the volume of a stroke of a normal grease gun in low speed, so is easily controllable. There is a little plunger under your thumb that moves with every stroke, so you can count the pumps even when in noisy environments. 2 speeds on my gun, but I rarely use the high speed. Comes standard with a really long, ultra flexible hose, so you can easily grease nipples where you wouldn't be able to with a standard gun. Also far more powerful than any hand operated gun, I've used mine to unblock grease nipples that couldn't be greased. It enters a special pulsation mode when it encounters a blocked nipple, and 9 times out of 10 it will free it.
Really couldn't recommend one highly enough.

I'd pipe all the nipples to a central point if I were you.
It would make it handier again

i can grease my pa65t in about 5 minutes and that with moving the arm to get at a few,is it worth a battery gun?sods law says it will be flat and you be away from yard

Just after useing my friends one i thought them a mighty job . I wouldnt b buying one just for hedgecutter theres lots of other yokes to b greased and anyone that has one wouldnt b without it mabey just gettin lazy in me old age

A good battery grease gun is one of those things that once you have it, you wouldn't want to be without it. They are some job for tensioning up tracks on a digger too!!! Mine will do at least 5 fills on the battery, it's always left in the workshop, so I pretty much pop the battery in the charger whenever I'm not actually greasing with it so there is no risk of the battery dying on me.

I'd be with you on that, the time I'd save with a battery gun would be miniscule and as tools go squeezing a pistol grip grease gun isn't too difficult, Battery drills and grinders do have a place.

Pipein them all to the one place wud b a good job but probably wil never happen. There is also a serious amount of grease nipples on the beet harvester. Teleporter. And 4 banks of nipples on one of the balers. Also have a 120_ 1 and ajcb all them have a good few nipples i think i have myself convinced to buy one

Welcome to the forum , and for making the effort to post.

I know nothing of battery grease guns.
Were Cheta in Carlow , of fencer fame , not repowering battery packs , for drills etc. I seem to remember ads on DoneDeal for it , but never heard of anyone getting them done.
