Going to be having a night out in Inverness.
Been a long time since I have been and hoping
someone on here may be in the know.

Looking to have a few beers and a nice meal.

Any info would be great. :001_smile::001_smile:

there are quite a few good places to eat along the river ,the glenmorriston town house is good although a little pricey it also has contrast restuarant if you want something different ,the waterside which is next door is ok ,the rocpool over the bridge does good fish and the italian next door to that is ok
where do you go for a meal nearer home ?

Thanks for that.

Nearer home Finlays in Fraserburgh is about the best I've been to lately.
The Tufted duck in St Combs is quite good as well.
Heathill has gone downhill since it changed hands, Used to be very good.
The Fraserburgh leisure centre is ok as well.
The Bancar is good for a carvery on a Sunday.

we sometimes go see thomas at finlays as well its ok :thumbup1:not been to heathhill for a long time now so no hurry to go back ,
we went to fife lodge in bamff tonight for mothers day :001_rolleyes:and it was very good ,£72 for 4 of us which was good for what we had :thumbup1:
the banff springs is supposed to be very good again although not tried it since it was taken over again
have to try the tufted duck sometime

Was at a wedding in the Banff Springs and the meal was very good.

The Tufted duck is now owned by Charlie Ritchie who heads up
Score Engineering. He has spent a huge wad of money doing it up.
