The studs wrung off in the hub , that hold in the chopping cone . The cone is more welding rods , bits of shear grab blades etc etc . Completely f@&ked .
Couple of options
There's a lad outside Birr , who will make a replacement cone , very good quality , I'm told be 2 different people , for approx €650 .
Not sure how many of the stud holes have good threads is a possible downside to this route .
A lad on donedeal , near Fenagh Co Carlow , will put in a couple of foot of Auger , which pushes out the beet through Hardox blades , for €800 .
The option that I'm sort of leaning towards .
Anyone had it done ?
