Low height car hoist

I’m looking to install a car hoist in my own garage,
8foot at eves and 10foot at apex
Steel tech shed ,
Any ideas ?

No matter what lift you have, isnt the height still going to be a problem, there isnt much point in having a lift if you cant have the car at a comfortable working height, or endangering both shed and car roof every time you lift it, A van would be impossible Id imagine

Could always dig a 2ft pit under it?

Something like that is ideal , I don’t mind the mid height,

At 1800 it must be near the price of a new one.
Mid rise are really only good for wheels and bodywork, but maybe thats what you want it for

Would that be too tall? It gives an overall measurement of 2766mm which is about 9ft. The advantage of one like that is it could be brought outside on a fine day, and can be shoved back out of the way when not needed

Good hint.....make sure you squeeze every last drop of oil out in the service
