Got to take a 7719 dynavt next edition for a spin today . Nice tractor fair quick to build up speed in joystick mode and pedal mode . Would take a bit of getting used to to get the feel for it compared to the dyna6 box . 4 of us took it for a spin . And all had the same issue stopping power was terrible. No. Feel in the brake pedal till it was near to the floor. Were we driving it wrong?
No the brakes on Fendt backend tractors are crap compared to Gima backend tractors.
But you do get use to them.

really:huh: plenty of feel on my 7480
Have you driven dyna 6 tractors lately?
Their brakes are nearly too aggressive and when you get use to them most other tractors seem poor.
It is not fair to say the brakes are poor, they just seem that way after the very aggressive brakes on a dyna 6.

A few summers ago I was mostly driving a Deutz M420 with very poor brakes, I went for a spin on the 6490 and the first time I had to brake I nearly put myself through the windscreen.
same here when i drove a 6485 and was even worse in the 7716. got used to them though

7480 was very aggressive but since I changed cardan and oil and when I adjusted brakes I think I actually released them a bit they are much better less aggressive no grinding noise.

Love to know where these guys get there hands on these diagnostic kits. Can’t be costing them anything like that.

I had a CNH kit off a guy on ebay last winter, laptop, software and connector for a quarter of that!

Think the price mentioned was E60k with a trade in allowance of E90k on 12 mth old claas plus vat . It had front links and front pto and i think that included loader bracket`s . It was another lad had it on demo and called in to the yard here for us to see it . A very tall tractor was on 42 rim`s made 650`s look narrow on the

Need some help with some part numbers on the ‘lower lever’ of the front axle suspension on a tier 3 7495 ( DANA axle). There is nothing in the operator’s manual nor a tier 3 workshop manual that I have, and no luck on Google.

- Articulation pin;
- Front sealing ring;
- Thrust block;
- Bearing;
- Frictional resistance ring.

Was curious to see the size difference between the farm ‘little tractor’ and the new ‘big tractor’ 74...
Lovely tractor….well wear with her. If you don’t mind me asking, did you make that spike for the 4245 or is it shop bought? Looking for something similar myself to try and get a bit of extra reach for stacking bales.

Thanks Rebel

The spike was made up by a local welder. It’s a fairly simple design - just some tanco brackets welded onto box iron, with two spikes threaded through.

If I was doing it again, I’d make it 50cm longer (more comfort on the 4th row of bales) and have the spikes 10 cm closer.

We have the same problem with our 7719s, they get air in the brake system and as a result the padelfeel is realy bad. It's a known problem at the dealer. Bleeding the brakes helps for a month or 3, after that the problems are back
