700 whitetorn in, hedge done now, something to be at these days anyway, hopefully allow me to take out a hedge between 2 tillage fields in another spot next year
What are you using to make the holes?

Need to do some planting here too.

you still have the propeller on the ajitator. We got a lot less blockages when we removed it
That propellor is a disaster... Why they send them out with it I do not know. An absolute torture when mixin slurry on the country.

I still have it on my 3000 agitator. It constantly has stuff wrapped around it .

If I was to cut it off , do I cut the shaft above it ,
Or , cut the star thing itself , leaving the shaft intact ?

I don't know, it's still on the agitator at work. It's a 3000 as well. Nothing worse than spending 5 or 10 mins cutting net of it and putting it back down and the agitator starting vibrating again a few mins later.

I bought an auger for it, 180 Euro I think it was, they were 50 a day to rent. They were advertised on done deal
I planted 1200 whitethorn slips in two and a half days with one if these a few years ago, you'll have no problem sleeping those nights!

I just pushed the spade down into the ground, pulling it back towards you to open the ground, put the slip down the back of the spade and then pull the spade up and stamp the ground and on to the next one!

Should you not use soft hands or something similar? Would the prongs let air into the bale and start it going off?

The Snapchat memories would depress ya at times, seen today this day 2017 we were spreading slurry with the big tanker and no issue at all... today it didn’t stop raining all day and the field being spread in video has a 3 acre flood in it

How have you such old pictures on a phone ? , Deutz 6.06 starcab..:detective:
That was a photo album in my grand uncles place and all the possessions in the house were left to another grand uncle so I didn’t want to go stealing the album and instead I just took the pictures of what I wanted which was the machinery 🤣 that 6.06 came from a tillage farmer in portarlington his name was E Fitzpatrick someone might recognise it I think he had it from new, it came with a mcconnell 9058 hedge cutter

Eddie Fitzpatrick, he's a FF Councillor. He farms about 400 acres and runs Masseys now.

Ya that’s him, bought that deutz off him years ago, I was young enough when we bought it, only remember a red Fahr combine and he had a daughter same age as me 🤣
