Ploughing tips and tricks

Roughly what speed you doing?
Varies hugely as does the ground in this area was ploughing Lea ground during the week very stony was down to 5kph in have ploughed as fast as 12 kph with it in stubbles in ideal conditions with no danger of stones

Was thinking of investing in one. Any particular make that's good?
This 1 I bought from agriline last year for £200 to suit the 5140
I bought 1 for the 7480 3/4years ago think I payed 250 for it
The 7480 1 is 11ton and iirc this 1 is 9🤷‍♂️

Kv pg100 the bodies are inclined to jump off the 4 balls far too easily when met with stones, they’re not worn and the springs is tensioned to 70cm works alongside a Es 85 which never has the same bother any ideas?
Do both ploughs have the same number of leaves in the springs?
Is there much wear on the pins holding the springs, also check the for wear on the bar that runs through the body and the pins.

Will have to have a closer look for wear I know the Es 85 has a lot of wear in the pins it has a lot of ploughing done in questionable land! the big plough hasn’t an awful lot done, same springs on both
