Are these a good job? Is it easy to crack the blade in them. Thinking it might cut in awkward places that an angle grinder might not

Bit of a blunt instrument. Our 20 odd year old Lidl one is awful handy for cutting suspension bushings in situ though.

Very handy bit of kit.
Won't cut hard metals like a grinder will.
And need top quality blades for any amount of steel work.

Bending the blades is the pain. Touch anything with the tip and it bends

Very very handy for rough cutting timber, like having a chainsaw in the workshop!

Was in a crawl space in a attic yesterday and used one to cut some timber out of the way. Without it would have been impossible as no room to swing a cat .

Have a dewalt one, not used often but very handy to have. I would say its nearly impossible to cut a straight line with them. Useful if you have to cut steel and have straw nearby as there are very few sparks if any.

I've cut ply by clamping a box section to the sheet. Then keep a bit of pressure towars the blade.

Once saw one in the window of a specialist shop in Amsterdam. Very versatile tools by all accounts!!
