Sears seat spares

Dismantled the seat off of the 8870 here yesterday, and whilst it is generally in excellent condition, the adjustable damper is shot. Got a price of a new one from the main dealers and almost had a heart attack. €450, or €370 if I get it on a stock order. That's an absolutely crazy price. Messicks, a main NH dealer in the USA, have one in stock for approx $220, another example of rip of Ireland in my view.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is anywhere in Ireland, or failing that, the UK who is an agent for Sears seats, so I can get a damper directly from them.
Mchugh do a spurious version here for €60, which is what I will get for the time being, but I wouldn't have much faith in it long term if the door and window struts are anything to go by.
It's the strut S11257 on this page:

They also have the roller bearing kits there too.
Thanks lads!!

A few pics!

Try these lads. Think I dealt with Andrew. Proper sound lads. Could have sold me a far more expensive seat base than I needed, but actually perswaded me cheaper spec

According to the Sesrs website QTP are an Irish distributor. They have a factory in Wales.

Also what price are Claas and Caterpilkar charging as they will have the same seat in the Challenger

I see McHugh are too @Profi Farmer , could their damper be genuine I wonder?
On the page below, the air bag listed at the bottom of the page is the same Firestone one as used in the seat in the 8870!

I'll get onto them in the morning and see what turns up!
Jesus, the seat had gotten rough this last month. It would bottom out over fairly modest bumps and keep bouncing for ages.

Am extremely brief reply here lads, cos I'm going to be shot if I delay any further! The damper didn't come in today, as McHugh don't have it in stock, and it looks like its going to be weeks before they have it back in. However, I also ordered the bearing/ roller kit, which did arrive, and it is a genuine Sears kit! So, if worst comes to worst, I'll still be able to get the damper in 3 weeks.
However, I was talking to John at www.seatsystems.ie , and he might have one in stock. I'll let ye know tomorrow.

Those Sears active seats (the €2500 ones ) are a very comfortable seat , if I won any sort of lotto I'd have some in a few of the tractors .
I was looking at those! With no axle, or cab suspension to speak of, it would be very welcome in the 8870! If I win the lotto, as you say!
