Siemens umbilical slurry flow meter.

Afternoon folks.
Anyone using a Siemens Mag 5000 flow meter on an umbilical setup.
We've just started using one but it's telling a few lies.
130k odd gallons is registering as 60k gallons.
Not the end of the world but it would be nice to have it reading someway right.
I've tried the YouTube setup videos and all seems to be setup correctly.
Hoping someone has run into the same issues.

Have you positioned it near a bend? Flow meters need a certain amount of straight pipe either side, otherwise the rate is affected
 
Yep came as standard on the dribble bar and was one of the selling points of the design being on a long straight for a better reading. All parameters are set correctly I'm beginning to wonder if its a dud
