Yes, in an ideal world the fertilizer wants to be left for 6 hours post application. It was going to take a lot longer to roll it than spread the fertilizer and I was ready to go firstRoll post application?

Looks like you’ve had a few crows knocking around same as here, no damage worth talking about done.
Feckers have riddled mine as might be seen in my last photo, you’d want to be up at 4am to get them...Looks like you’ve had a few crows knocking around same as here, no damage worth talking about done.
Towards the end of April last year we sowed about four acers of spring barley in part of a field where winter wheat had failed. The feickers cleaned it out completely in less than one week.Feckers have riddled mine as might be seen in my last photo, you’d want to be up at 4am to get them...
Tonight's temps wouldn't want to be around for to long or nothing will emerge. The Jeep is a block of ice as I type this. It's taking longer than that for most around here to emerge.
Good bit sown around me, 16 days ago now, only just about see the tramlines on damp soil today and youd be squinting at that.
I sowed 3 weeks ago today like you its up very nicely now and went with Sulcan today. However I split the CAN still on the SB approx 65% now and 35% in 2 to 3 weeks. Is it a bit early for N yet?, sowed some SB 3 weeks ago, tram lines just about visible, I only go with N once, I'm limited to weekends so I'm tempted to go with it this afternoon! Otherwise it will be next weekend also have to give the WB its last N and usually do both when the spinner is on.
What did you do to upset the lady of the Manor if you're banished to the jeep at this hourTonight's temps wouldn't want to be around for to long or nothing will emerge. The Jeep is a block of ice as I type this.
She wanted a back rub, I wanted a slightly different rub .What did you do to upset the lady of the Manor if you're banished to the jeep at this hour
Was planning to start putting CAN on the first of the spring barley tomorrow but looking at the forecast this morning I don’t think I will be in any hurry out with it. Very dry weather forecasted.I sowed 3 weeks ago today like you its up very nicely now and went with Sulcan today. However I split the CAN still on the SB approx 65% now and 35% in 2 to 3 weeks.
i recon we are a month behindWe sowed our first bit last Monday, it’s been a cold week with occasional showers, meaning work has been a bit stop/start.
Snow, hail and rain put a stop to the operation yesterday evening.
It may dry up later today and we’ll get a bit done, next week looks like remaining cold, but mostly dry.
Going by the calendar the year is getting on, going by nature we haven’t missed much growth.
Reminds me of pat mustard quote from father ted, "youd have to be up very early in the morning to catch me father" 🤣Feckers have riddled mine as might be seen in my last photo, you’d want to be up at 4am to get them...
I'll have the machine gun in the cab with me tomorrow while spreading fert...not at 4 am though...Reminds me of pat mustard quote from father ted, "youd have to be up very early in the morning to catch me father" 🤣
They have no fear i find until the cab door opens by then its too late..I'll have the machine gun in the cab with me tomorrow while spreading fert...not at 4 am though...
Gun stuck out the side window, after one or two tramlines of no fire they get brave...then slow down a bit and bang. Might be some parts of the field greener than others. They have no fear i find until the cab door opens by then its too late..
Mate of mine's Dad was doing that one day (years ago) till the windscreen fell out.Gun stuck out the side window, after one or two tramlines of no fire they get brave...then slow down a bit and bang. Might be some parts of the field greener than others.
If you shoot down any make sure and pull them apart and throw the bits around. It's not pleasent to do but by God it usually puts the fear in them to fcuk off.I'll have the machine gun in the cab with me tomorrow while spreading fert...not at 4 am though...
Any we've brought down lately there is usually a buzzard on him within a few minutes pulling him apart for me.If you shoot down any make sure and pull them apart and throw the bits around. It's not pleasent to do but by God it usually puts the fear in them to fcuk off.
A good shot (or a bad shot) usually disintegrates them a bit. There's a few buzzards here also that might appreciate that. Will have to put up the kites on two patches at least...If you shoot down any make sure and pull them apart and throw the bits around.
