Testing hydraulic pressure

Have a Clark 35b. Is there anyway to test the hydraulic power in it or get a psi reading from it by plumbing in a guage someway? I thought it should be able to lift more. Struggles to lift a 2 tonne pallet of fertiliser off the ground.

I'm just wondering to begin with could a lad test the hydraulic pressure in a loader like a lad can test the hydraulic power of the spool valves in the tractor?

Could i put a guage on one of the pipes and see what psi it has.

Tee into the lift hose and fit a gauge. Raise loader to max height and relief valve should blow off. Check pressure during this test.
