To be honest, i didn’t realise he had as much older gear, i only spoke to him about the newer stuff, he had an MX270 which was swapped for a MX285, and was very unfortunate with an MXM190 that was eventually swapped for the first Puma 210 in the area, used to also lift a lot of beet in the area.

Best not tell the boss, we got 3500 as a trade in against a JD 3350.

Even then your 3350 is probably after appreciating much more since too! The days of sub 10k clean 50 series seem to be gone.

Your man that bought that 1474 2/3 years ago must be rubbing his hands seeing this 1474 go for that amount. He bought his 1474 for 96k sterling at auction if I remember right

I visited a County collection in Northern Ireland last year, guy had 2x 1474s, I think one of those was the first one built.
He also has 1884 and quite a few other County models

Common enough to be honest, I've one here in the collection too and I dont remember paying huge money for it but that is over 10.years ago now before anything with County in the name went wild.

I remember going to Keys around 30 years ago with a neighbour to buy a tracked digger. They were selling 2nd hand tractors and diggers, humble setup in a farmyard. mostly uk imports.
My, we have done well.

Equipment was spotless and strong prices reflected this with a big crowd. Tractor didnt sell at 40k but was mint.
