The old farmflix crew were nearly better than whats there now IMO.See some former farmflix staff have started a youtube channel.
Spot onFar too fresh. 10k hours minimum I’ll guess.
Fine bus to be fair, front line replacement to take the pressure off the 6499 and big horsepower backup.7624
You were fairly close to the mark originally.Looks a fine tractor, in good condition for 13 years old and 10k hours, 260hp is a nice upgrade to the 6499. Hope it’s lucky for them.

When did they part ways, was there any reason given for itSee some former farmflix staff have started a youtube channel.
A while now, not sure but city boy and Willis were doing YouTube for NC there for a while. Dunno if they’re still doing it.When did they part ways, was there any reason given for it
Seen that i assumed they had started on their own doing marketing videos for different companies when I seen tbem doing NC stuff.A while now, not sure but city boy and Willis were doing YouTube for NC there for a while. Dunno if they’re still doing it.
Had a look at there. With a rebuilt transmission they should get good service from it for a while you would hope.Looks a fine tractor, in good condition for 13 years old and 10k hours, 260hp is a nice upgrade to the 6499. Hope it’s lucky for them.
Maybe MF7715 is really some of the Stewarts!
The 7626 i posted earlier looked a nice tractor, Is the 6499 a ‘09/‘10 reg? I would have thought they would have moved up a few more years to a low houred ‘20/‘21 7726S with decent tyres, maybe get 10 years of relative reliable service. Or an early 8S 265 with a new gearbox and software update, they can be got at fairly good value.Had a look at there. I’m really Bro…. How did you work it out…

Would that tractor be around 50k plus vat? Maybe more with rebuilt transmission?I’m really Bro…. How did you work it out…

And GAA shorts in the summer to keep @Crops yummy mummy’s on their toes….You must wear shorts in the middle of winter so![]()
I would price their 7624 around that 50k plus vat, engine and gearbox should last another 10,000 hours easily. The rest of the tractor has over 10k hours tho, I’m guessing the 6499 will be on the baler and they can keep the new tractor on the mowers. So if there is a breakdown on any of their big tractors they can keep going which is a big advantage. Always handy to be over mechanised, it’s a lot of extra gear to have, maintain and repair when the inevitable happens, when all your tractors have over 10k it’s only a matter of when. Just my opinion.Would that tractor be around 50k plus vat? Maybe more with rebuilt transmission?
If they traded the 99 they probably could have gone newer. I suppose this way they have 2 good big albeit high hour tractors around.
What will a trans rebuild cost on the 99?
Someone told me they spent 6k on parts for claas gearbox for same 3 rd gear issue.
I expect those sisu engines don't give much bother at high hours do they?
what’s worse is nowadays, even you have a rainy day fund for breakdowns and main dealer visits, paying a main dealer London for work, the standard of the work can be pretty shockingwhen all your tractors have over 10k it’s only a matter of when. Just my opinion.
They bought the tractor of that dealer so I’m sure they looked at it. But as someone else said that tractors hours are a little low.If that was 50k they would have been better off financing the extra and buying this one I found this ad on DoneDeal - where you'll find more cars from trusted dealers than anywhere else. https://www.donedeal.ie/tractors-fo...d&utm_medium=share&utm_campaign=listing_share
Near 30k more and they did finance the one they bought so could be outside budgetIf that was 50k they would have been better off financing the extra and buying this one I found this ad on DoneDeal - where you'll find more cars from trusted dealers than anywhere else. https://www.donedeal.ie/tractors-fo...d&utm_medium=share&utm_campaign=listing_share
The other problem is how much is the 6499 worth to trade. He was saying it could have 16k hours. Them big massseys wouldnt the best yoke going to hold their value. Same could be said for any brand of them big tractors I suppose. What would one with them hours make on a trade. Its possibly better value as a 2nd big tractor to them.Near 30k more and they did finance the one they bought so could be outside budget
Maybe trading the 99 for that one would have been an option. Not their style or philosophy though I suppose.
Depends on the summer we have, I've men hate to see a new set of tyres due to cutting the sod when turning. And farmer Phil’s tractor is going to need a full set of tyres realistically before it should be put on the mowers .
