Todays Photo

Is that a swan, do they stay there all year round or do they only come for the winter, this past week has been very busy here with geese going away for the summer
aye they come in for the winter, 2 lakes half a mile away and a river even less.
hasn't been to many this week, but I'd say the pair are left are here to stay

Anyone know what’s this pink stuff?
Being delivered to a neighbour’s field which is after spuds last year.
I’ve never seen it before, the last load that arrived was white (a bit like sludge of long ago) and they had a loader tidying up the heap.
No noticeable smell or anything, curiosity getting the better of me.

Open to correction but i believe It's sludge treated with lime out of a dairy processing plant.

Forgot to put these up, taken yesterday morning, not drilling weather yet.

Dairy gold sludge nothing to worry about. We use it here at home good stuff.

Thanks, I wasn’t worried about it more curious.
Lads using it would be very good operators.
What’s its main benefit? Is it high in potash gives it the reddish colour?
Reddish colour is usually for the digester in West cork treated differently to the other stuff which has 10% lime in it. Wicked high in p next to no k and around 7%N per ton and Wicked good for organic matter
