Anyone got any links to a reputable firm that can either recondition my Hilux front diff, or supply a reconditioned one??.

I see adverts for recon kits. But have been told it's a fairly specialist job to do?

My mechanic is happy ro swap one for the other but doesn't want the hassle of reconditioning it.

Milner off road I think I got bits for my hilux rear diff
i wouldnt use them again out of principal now.
supplied me with shocking bad brake pads and shoes
then told me id fitted them wrong when i had very little brake
took a threatening letter to get my money back from them

Sorry if wrong thread. A 2006 hilux 3.0 has come up with 130k miles. Automatic with leather interior. Would ye advise at around 6-7k and what should I look out for with them? Might test it today if possible

That model has injector problems, the modified injectors had a different colour tab around it, red or green comes to mind. You'll have to ask have they been changed.

OK thanks. He's only had it 1.5 year but changing due to a recent surgery and finds driving position too low. Going to view it this evening. Don't think I can go too far wrong at that kind of money in long run?

€6-7 k? Seems mad low mileage for the age and I thought they’d be making more than that

The correct injector replacement/modification set can cost around €2k to carry out if not done under warranty as far as I have heard.

Anyone know of a Holux breaking for spares?
Preferably about an 07 plate.
Need a complete front differential unit for one.
Ones for breaking seem to be hard to come bye. Export is too good! Even scrappers are going away apparently!
