Surprised the CS was cheaper than an MX, Always found the CS a more refined tractor
I was thinking the same and my conclusions, right or wrong :
The CS 150 is in between the MX135 and 150 which are 140, 150, 160 HP.
Also the MX was just out in 98.
The CS of that era had the exhaust up through the bonnet and I think they were all 40k?
I expect the later CS150 with suspension and 50k would be more. 🤷

Very good points, CS' I've driven were 50k with the pillar exhaust, Spool, Ranges and shuttle on the gearstick were a luxury, Even if the gates were very close together IMO.

I'll check tomorrow, it was early nineties anyway, got it at a ploughing match. I'm trying to think might of been at patrickswell or carrigtwohill.

That and the F110 in Martin's yard makes more sense.

That article missed 110/90s that Martin had by then at least one.

I'd be fairly confident that is her with the duals on the left hand side there. @humungus is taking good care of her now.

Incidentally Martin's granddaughter is now ploughing with the little Fiat. I can clearly remember that tractor rowing up ahead of the Hesston with a double rotor Claas rake.

The F110 used to mow with a Krone mower or a Grasshopper.

thats my 110 on the left alright :smitten: the other 110 wasn,t turboed and i think she was 91 reg , i,d say it would be possible to recreate that photo in the present day although maybe not the same tractors but 3 of them still are around

1991 was patrickswell, 1992 carrigtwohill, if that narrows it down for you. I reckon it was at one of those ploughing I picked it up.

Just out of interest I searched into the archives and he won the first of 12 consecutive titles in 87 so 5th would be 91. Assume the article is from 92 if picked up at the ploughing

Either 91 or 92. They had a later one possibly 94 as well. I can remember your 110 on a twin row and 2 other 110s on single rows pulling beet here.

This in the wrong thread.

Straight pipe , Turboed 110/90 , The Italian Stallion .

Tunes. :smitten:

No actual date on that brochure ,only what's mentioned in the article and list of models of tractors, balers ,combines and harvesters available.

That’s really interesting to see the price list.

Take the 8560 at £53450 punts. That was the price of a decent house back in 1999. Tractor much cheaper than a house now. I know sone may say that it an unfair comparison and talk about farming input costs etc amd I know they are right …. But an interesting comparison all the same.

At the other end of the scale the compact tractors were pricey even back then looks like about £19k which seems a big ball of money… I bought a new “red I” Passat in 1997 amd it cost about that with no trade in.
