Faster coupling covers think any dealer should be able to order them through the likes of sparex

Just need to measure the size of the in fill bits if your looking for some as there are different sizes depending on how far apart couplings are

Have a load of lamb feeders getting to a certain age, and looking a bit like swiss cheese.
Indeed s few of them are more holes than trough, so action was needed!
A mate has folded new trough bottoms for me, 1.5mm galv so is quite a bit heavyer than before!
Original plan was to cut and fold the ends up, trough being 7ft and sheet 8ft it would give a nice overlap.
But 1.5mm sheet is harder to bend than I thought! So screwing wooden ends on and cutting them to suit the new trough is working best.
2 troughs from each 8x4 sheet, came to less than £50/ trough which I thought very reasonable!

Seems IAE haven't stuck to any same pattern for long either, none of the 3 troughs done so far have been the same, the internal bracings being different on each one. Luckily the new troughs have a folded 'safe edge' on the front, making them seriously rigid, so will get away without the bracings on the trough.

Please ignore the bombsite of a workshop!

My workshop here at home is pretty small so I'm always moving things around to try and find floor space to work. There was a sink in the corner but it was mostly a place to accumulate crap, plus twice the pipes frozen and burst so the plywood was a bit fecked

I got rid of the sink, replaced the ply and built a shelf unit to store some bits. Up top I have an office cabinet for paint and painting stuff. The doors were rusty and I had some orange paint so I freshened them up.

White paint is great for making a workshop bright but it does need touching up from time to time. You can see in the third pic the difference in 15 years since the shed was built and the fresh paint. But of a wake up call in terms of the lungs really seeing as I was there making all the dirt that discoloured the wall
