That's a disgrace, should have made them put new tyres all round

We've all heard the stories, we all know of the cases, we've all had close calls, even though these images are of training exercises they are sobering enough without even reading the article. There will always be another fine day, and another year, the last couple of bales or the last half acre aren't worth the risk.

Aidan ? Did he make a new one ,

Or just put a new bar across for the hinge ?

I have a shook manhole here . Inside in shed, cows eating on it for the winter , and collecting on it for most of the year while milking .

Ya he was here today. Doing a few bits.
He made one new finger and put new bar for hinge. The other finger is in the tankπŸ˜….

For when he is coming ashore from the schooner.

@Bog Man , did you look for x y and z ,

Or was it a "Safety Pack ", for want of a better word ?
You go onto their site and fill a shopping basket . There is a charge for some items but a good bit of free stuff. I went for the free stuff due to reduced circumstances. Do you know how many acres of straw it takes to fuel up a mid sized yacht.

Thanks for that .

No
No idea . And not likely to ever find out ..
Not able to swim , hence I'd be very wary of water.

What freebies have you for the breakfast!!

HSA must have loads of these stored away when you consider the numbers handed out each year at the ploughing.

Tis went in pure sh1t on us last week. The cover got grip and pulled the o gaurd out of it. We lost the little white clips out of the cover then. So just rang and ordered a new one. To dangerous the way it was. All back together now again

That make pto cover i find break very easy. How much was the new cover?

The plonkers out walking the road and cycling around here could do with that, it's like they deliberately try to camouflage themselves into the roadside.
A offered a young man that walks the road a hi vis singlet and he said no thanks that he had one at home. He has special needs and is hard enough to deal with . I would know his family and they would want him to wear one but there is no persuading him.

Was the same story here, lad used be walking to the shop , he was a creature of habit and would always go to the shop at 4:30 in the evening. Not too bad in the summer but he was a hazard to himself and others in the darker months, shop owner used give him several hi Viz but lad couldn't see the point of wearing it....
Thankfully he moved into town last yr

A man I went to school with came from a hard working family but on his mother’s side they were absolutely tight about spending. He walks everywhere and one night in the clubhouse he sold a reflective arm band to someone. The following week he got hit by a car and got a few bones broken.
