as i see the lads talking about birds on another thread the thought occurred to me,
I never hardly hear an owl round these parts now a days, i think i used to hear them at night, but not for an age now have i heard one.
are they scarce now?
or am i just not in the right neck of the woods to be hearing them??

To much poision being put down for rats and mice and the owl is catching dem before the die ive 2 buckets with a flip lid to catch the mice and rats i bring dem far away and let dem go owl will catch dem at night ive one here with me i hoping it dosent get poison cause not every one like me dare lovely bird

There would only be water in that sprayer a couple of times a year to wash it out, and it's not washing out time yet

I came across two wasps nests last week in piles of clay, the badgers must have attacked them as there was a lot of disturbed ground around them

It is a few years since I have seen a Sparrowhawk, beautiful birds, if you don't have chicks outside.
