I downloaded a grain moisture calculator from AHDB.
Got going again today around six o’clock, its a case of grab every opportunity you get now.
We got going around 3pm here and I had my first delivery to Goldcrop HQ.
Great pic B, can I tweet it?
Go for it. Patriot.
Kosmos next to get flopped today.
Earlier start for a change.
Just got a heavy shower after a muggy start to the day so that puts pay to my combine ambitions to cut oats.
Same here. It spilled at half eight this morning.
It looks like a day for family. I might make a call to see how my Grandchild and Aunt are after their birthday parties yesterday. The youngest is one and the oldest is one hundred and one. Fizzy drinks cake and Jack Daniels would wreck a body at any age.
Time to cut back on the fizzy drinks?
Would of presumed @Bog Man would have been a straight Midleton rare man
That man's body is a temple, he is aiming for 110 and was found reading Richard Brutons top tips in the Sunday Indo earlier today.
I would've thought he was more a Complan kind of gentleman
Got going on our bit of wb that survived .only just about ripe no pics or yield yet as young crew carting this yr
Are you after being sent to a nursing home
Retirement villa is the wording they're using.
78 year old glued to the combine seat here....
Father is 83 this month and still in the driving seat.
Valerie being harvested near Midleton this evening with the recent arrival
They could be in a lot worse places!!
What I cut today yielded around about 3.5 ton an acre. Just a guess as none is weighed in yet, just going on what the trailers generally hold. Moisture I would put at 20 to 21.
Cought up with the lads yesterday evening
i,d say you were like a young lad hoping you,d be asked to draw a load , milking cows is soo much more glamorous
Was told to go home
