I am safe to stay away for another week so.Still holding, but this weekend will do a job on it. 71 good plump grains and 1 blind one from a random head close to the edge, less fert, looks very promising to me.

Augurs well, but we are usually well ahead of you harvest wise.Tramlines here are green as leaks, 10 days anyway.

Looks more forward than mine, I would be keeping an eye on it, reckon from the pics it is very close.View attachment 94848View attachment 94849View attachment 94850View attachment 94851

Check how you are being paid for moisture, some places don't pay moisture bonuses so pays well to cut rare.I may go look at the field which should be more forward tomorrow so!
Isabel Oats 30% .
Jaysus that was rather premature.Isabel Oats 30% .
Happens me a lot tooJaysus that was rather premature.
You have to keep an eye on oats as next thing you are cutting at 11% with no bonus for below 18 . They were easy to get into the tank but hard to get out.Jaysus that was rather premature.
Reduce the drum speed as much as you dare, about 700rpm I think on a TX.Tried doing a moisture test there but the shells still on them I assume they would want to be off, it’s reading 9%. I hear oats have to be very fit before you attempt to go near them. Any advice on how to set combine for them
Make sure that the de-awning plates are removed and I think the third drum can be lifted out of work on the TX?Tried doing a moisture test there but the shells still on them I assume they would want to be off, it’s reading 9%.
