I've a field of Graham same as that, only walked by it an hour ago moving cattle.Notice my field of Graham has tipped flag leaf. Not obvious on other varietys. Is this a feature of the variety or maybe spray damage. Did notice a headland that has a high hedge beside it has less.

I can’t really remember but I do not think there was frost or wind around that time. Must be varietal so more than anything. JB was a divil for tipping too for no reason.Top 10mm of flag leaf burned or turned yellowy brown
Fortune favours the brave!Tipping happening in the Costello here in Galway too, thank you strangers of the internet that convinced me not to disc this out
In your second picture there is canary grass, if that land is fresh into tillage do everything you can to keep it out, can be extremely invasive if not controlled.Tipping happening in the Costello here in Galway too, thank you strangers of the internet that convinced me not to disc this out

Yea it’s Timothy. I’ve see far too much canary grass!!!Are you sure?
Looks way more like Timothy to me, but I am not an expert.
Timothy would be much more common after poorish ley.
A better picture of the whole plant needed to be sure.
If in doubt, canary grass typically has a red colour to the sap. Easy enough to control at the moment with Axial but expensive. In your second picture there is canary grass, if that land is fresh into tillage do everything you can to keep it out, can be extremely invasive if not controlled.

Delighted to be wrong, I remember the first plant of canary grass I saw here, didn't know what it was and I have regretted ever since not pulling it. It cost me thousands as never sprayed for wild oats before that.Yea it’s Timothy. I’ve see far too much canary grass!!!
