Genotyping cattle with no sire details.

Hi all.
I've a hereford cross friesian heifer here which i bought in the mart.
She's a nice beefy type heifer and with the friesian background I think she would make a good suckler cow.
Problem is I have no sire details except that he was a hereford, probably a stock bull in the dairy herd she was born in.
Is it possible to genomically test this heifer and get a star rating for her without the sire details?

Ya I'd think so, had a cow we genotyped and it came back with sire details when she initially had none

Thats good to know, I suppose i have to ring icbf so and order a sample tag for her ya?
