Slurry agitator which one ??

just had this from a stirrer/agitator user, just to move away from complicated pumps! Mixit stirrers

we don't usually get all the crust mixed on the first day, so it's almost unbelievable that the mixit managed to achieve it in 25 minuets, so pleased with the machine .

tractor is 143 at the shaft ,( we had it on the dyno recently) and its all it can do to run at 540.

Nice plug.

All you’ve ever done here is try to plug your mixer and being that most people here were looking for something to work in underground tanks you’d think by now you’d have managed to get a video or even a few pics of one inserted through a manhole, you’ve been asked numerous times on here and all you spout is that it’s hard to take a video of it working when you’ve been asked about inserting it.

Fair enough your mixer may be great but but dodging the obvious question doesn’t help

Looking at getting a pump agitator, I have a local NC and redrock dealer. A redrock superflow is coming in at €650 cheaper than the NC 3800. There's is an option of fitting a cutter bar to the redrock for €250 extra for the likes of bale silage. Have any one used a redrock with the cutting bar is it worth getting it fitted?

I would be in favour of the cutting bar, soon all slurry will have to be spread with some sort of system with a macerator/distributor and the more chopped it is the less likelyhood of blockages.
