Another demo for me to play with for a few days. 6215r with the vario box. Only arrived this evening but took it for a spin. Very nice to drive and everything very simple to figure out on the monitor. Will get her to work tomorrow. Was hoping for front pto to go mowing next week but doesn’t have it

Drew maize with the Deere for two days and have to say it does drive very well. Bit big for trailer work alright but a similar tractor in a smaller size be ideal for the job. The vario is very nice and the tractor very easy to use and get used to.
Back to the deutz for a day and a half and now I have this puma drawing silage tonight. So far impressione are very good. Not quiet as nice to drive as the vario as it’s a multi controller but still very nice and be happy to be on one all the time. Love the inside of the cab and the lay out. And from the outside it has to be said it’s a very fine looking tractor and a lot tidier to they 6215r on the trailer and around the yards.

With lads being big customers of the former deutz dealer are they considering Massey or are they just trying everything out ? Big area for deutz to be losing ,is there any deutz dealer in the southeast now, are Nass farm machinery going to pick up the deutz slack from hegarty I wonder

Donohues in Enniscorthy are still Deutz dealers...

Maybe @gone or someone will confirm or say it's untrue but I was told today that Hegartys were Deutz dealers for 46 years.

From what I hear Hegartys already have 3 new tractor orders in for new massey for the new year. One thing I am 100% sure of it there won’t be a massey in the yard. Hard to know what will be. If he going new I reckon it be claas or Deere unless a good low hour deutz is found

I would say that is correct, but have no exact time.
Tullow was a Ferguson town and still should be a great MF area.
Hegartys have not been happy with the backup they have been getting from SDF, I have seen the poor customer service myself.
I think it is a good move for Hegartys and MF.

We bought the 4235 from flynns of tullow they would have sold a lot of mf tractors.mick burne was the sales man we delt with .he was on the Ford Ireland demo team with my late father in the mid 60s
Around 65 years ago Flynns were the biggest Ferguson tractor dealer in the world, but the 90's and 2,000's they were reduced to selling very few tractors

It's a common theme in other places with SDF especially with the previous range, they did themselves no favours at all.

I think the MF agency is particularly attractive now in Ireland with the Welger Balers added to their range.

5 deutz in the yard now. I only collected it tonight so no pictures as it was dark but we had it for the first mowing job last year when the maize sower was still on the 165.7. Was owned by a local lad who helped us out drawing silage and maize with his own trailer. 2014 deutz 6180 ttv with approx 2300 hours.

Is that your first CVT gearbox Deutz Daniel?

Looks a Lovely tractor especially on that rubber.
A pity the read mudguards don't cover the tyres better, any bit of muck on them and when you speed up it lands on the mirrors.
