I thought the same, one of the few if only pine trees that I really like.

I planted a few hundred of those on the hedges I cut back tight with the mulcher .

About 2ha, it is the first year grow them in that field and they were a bit thin in places, but hope to get 500kg.

I'm not sure what I going to get for it yet, growing costs are low, I made a few mistakes this year and I hope to improve next year, if he wants to continue getting me to grow them.

We found 2 hen pheasants killed by buzzards in the poppy field. They both had been sitting on a nest of eggs, probably their second batch, the first probably dispatched by the same buzzards. The poppies get very easy to see through as they ripen and would have offered the pheasants up on a plate to the buzzards.
