Galvotech in Shannon did work for me recently and I'm very happy with it.
Good work and not expensive. About ā¬200 for a lot of nuts, bolts and pins from a Fiat.
The prep & cleaning is more expensive & time consuming. The cleaning cost me ā¬500 with a separate company as I had no access to a sandblaster, and even if I did I wouldnt have the time or patience to do it correctly.
All paint must be removed from the component's being plated otherwise the Zinc won't adhere to the metal correctly, a clean with a grinder or wire brush is not sufficient.
