I mowed silage with one just the same , except with a 10R Vise Grip for a gear lever ,in 2012 . Quite a nice old mule .

Harrohill?Slow drawing , 2 contractors near Templemore drew 1000s of acres of grass with 26s . They rarely failed to get there.
Fast enough for mowing . Lovely hum out of her .
Harrohill?
Not just slow drawing but slow to tip as well, not too bad if it was all the same tractors but one of them is in the way of everything else.Slow drawing , 2 contractors near Templemore drew 1000s of acres of grass with 26s . They rarely failed to get there.

Same issue with the new Holland's. Britax to blame. Spose would have to give it a few coats of paintHas anyone any solution to the Mirror arms paint flaking and peeling off? Two new Massey's locally here and the paint is well gone of them within 18 months. The mirror arms on the 54/64's seemed better finished or at least it didnt seem as much a problem.

He was still running a 2wd one on his sprayer up to 2 or 3 years ago. A 2640 I think. He's using a NH now.Harrohill?
Anyone know what the handbrake setup is on a 6485 Dyna-6? Had to rescue one last night off the road that locked up, will move backwards though or did enough to get on the trailer under its own power. The guy said the handbrake wouldn't come up only a small amount so thought it was to do with that, pressure or filter light come on a minute or so before it stopped.
