No, nothing like that. Delivered 460 kgs last year. Won't be much more than that this year as the herd is very young.

We're installing an auger to the bottom of the tank. 👍
High EBI friesan would be the older animals, the younger animals are crossbreds, so high EBI. Selecting bulls +30kgs in solids with a low milk volume the last few years.

No, cows are small and immature so have a low requirement. I'd say our herd matured will be at a requirement of 18/19kgs tops. We have been aiming at a high maintenance EBI figure.

This lad has a pub , that sort of runs itself . He goes to Thailsnd for a month , usually around February. He tried selling , renting the pub , but no body bites.
Nicknamed " Live At 3 " , due to him letting the day air before he rises , except on 1 day a week , when he goes for a round of golf .

You couldn't make him up
 
Just got informed a cow that is ment to be on the computer for milk withdrawal never came up this morning. And here we are....

Happened me only once, last load of milk at drying off, thought there might have been an extra cow in that wasn't marked. Took a sample to the creamery and got the OK, milk collected and we went down in the inhibitors. Got notice of a fine but just didn't get paid for my own milk as I had sent in a sample to check beforehand. They just did a short test when they should have done a long one.
 
Have the delvo also. It's 100,%, accurate but long. This one will pick up most of the dry cows tubes and antibiotic injection anyway. The cow had gotten ceprivan at drying off. We were worried the work man might not have noticed her as the parlour didn't notify him of her. Shed marked aswell so he got her.
