Yes, it's a dream Autumn for us so far.Serious output on 1kg. This weather must be suiting you big time.
We're installing an auger to the bottom of the tank. 👍Will it even flow outa the tank? Nice solids. What is your herd make up?
Yes, been using crossbreeding since 2017have done crossbreeding? Hows your cholesterol?
😂😂Savage .
Yea, won't be far off. Really puts questions on organic milk value. That's serious stuff . You could trot du ks on it .
Must be worth 50 c ?
No, cows are small and immature so have a low requirement. I'd say our herd matured will be at a requirement of 18/19kgs tops. We have been aiming at a high maintenance EBI figure.2-3kgs of silage? That's a great solids profile, Bruce.
Do you leave the cow and calf together for long after calving?Think he takes after his mother
Think he takes after his mother
Id say other than a lad in a dark thaiwanese disco, nobody was ever as disapointed to find a scrotum.
Thailand, a certain local lad likes that sort of thing . Hoping to sell up , and retire to there .
Usually till next milking. We would hand milk the cow and feed the calf.Do you leave the cow and calf together for long after calving?

lad around here let his land and went out to that shithole(bangkok). Comes back every 18 months our so sells off a field or site for funds. He met a girl(he thinks) and after while she said she needed a scooter. Went to dealers and she took one for test drive. That was the last he say of her or the scooter.........but he did get to know the salesman and his 'friends'.
Happened me only once, last load of milk at drying off, thought there might have been an extra cow in that wasn't marked. Took a sample to the creamery and got the OK, milk collected and we went down in the inhibitors. Got notice of a fine but just didn't get paid for my own milk as I had sent in a sample to check beforehand. They just did a short test when they should have done a long one.Just got informed a cow that is ment to be on the computer for milk withdrawal never came up this morning. And here we are....
All clear thank christ
They aren't refusing it this evening. Bf 4.7, Pro 4, lac 4.52. cows doing 19-20l the winter girls will start to lift that abit now
That was heavy for awhile. Ah starting to ratchet up the feeding to them now. The straw and bale silage are paying well at the momentThey could have it diluted as well after the rain this evening.
