snapper zero turn mulcher mower , 42 inch deck , 18.5hp Briggs and Stratton . Very manoeuvrable and quick to cut grass . Can be seen working . Only 110 hrs , mother can't drive so need one with a steering wheel and grass collector. Pm for details. Cost over 3000 new .

@laoisfarmer would you recommend one of these? What was it like? Was it good with lawn that is cut infrequently? Also what was the finish like given that it did not collect?

The lawn is about half an acre. Of late we do the other half of the lawn with a finishing mower. The other “half” is a bit bigger and is about 3/4 of an acre.

Very quick to cut a lawn , leaves a good finish but like all mulching mowers lawns need to be cut regularly, at least weekly. If it ever got to heavy I would cut it twice , first time blow it out the side and run over the second time with the side closed would leave a lovely finish
