Steam from breather pipe

Same 100.4 good bit of steam coming from breather pipe when gets warmed up.tractor running well easy started am I looking at a engine rebuild in time.using very little oil

Steam as in water vapour or is it blow by gases?

Might be as simple as getting the head reconditioned, if that doesn’t solve it then a set of rings and hone the liners at a minimum.

Any Same that I have driven, albeit they all had a few years work done, has always had steam from the breather pipe but were still very functional.

Unless it's hard started down on power and burning alot of oil I would not worry

No pressure just breathing and noticeable.can see it more at night with lights on.thats when I noticed it

Just wear I wouldn't take any notice I've had a lot of yokes like that over the years and nothing catastrophic ever happened.
I'm starting to breathe a bit heavy myself

Yes put a little pump to pump it back in…

Pipe it into the exhaust, some engines have it piped into the sump.

Usually piped into the air intake manifold to be burnt again.
