We have simmental, limousin and charolais stock bulls. He has done savage since he was born. Went out to grass from birth.

I must say calves are flying so far. Most at 4 weeks old have only seen one rain.

We haven't seen rain around here in over 4 weeks and looking at forecast we could see another dry week albeit a bit overcast.

Got in a local lad to dehorn some of the calves this year. The father had gotten to three times a day asking me to ring someone at one stage.

Couple of the suckler calves in red and a bought in dairy calf that was double sucking. Wouldn't stand them beside some of the top quality suckler cattle that lads have on this thread but they do ok. Everything slaughtered . Cow is 12 or 13 now and probably showing in her coat why we go with copper supplement every year
