The Farm Youtubers

Could he not put a loader on the Massey? Leave the case for the topping and fertilizer spreading. He was putting cameras on the loader last week and now she's out the gap.
 
As he says around 14 min mark, we’re in the game of YouTube and I think he realises the pull of machinery for viewers. Also why trade it when he has been inundated with messages to buy it, all part of the ‘game’

He did but then he’s leaning out the door to lift the cement mixer…that camera on autosparkys site ain’t cheap either
 
He was probably offered great money for it, and might be getting an attractive deal on its replacement too.
It may well be replaced by a Case, as Id imagine a Case dealer wouldnt mind paying a premium for having that in the showroom as an attraction.
@Rathbran the dealer probably offered him more, and he doesnt have to worry about a private buyer slating him on social media were the tractor to give any bother.
At the end of the day, its all about views too, and here are we talking about it, and most of us will watch the next one to see what he has bought!

I think he’s figured out the YouTube game pretty well

fair play to him, its not money for nothing though, alot of time & effort most go into putting those videos together and your are putting yourself and your farm on public view. also i presume the income generated is taxable?

Nail on the head with that post, I'll be watching as well to see what he turns up with.
Wouldn't there want to be a bit out of it though. To be trying to get work done and the amount of camera angles for a video and the bother of it plus editing videos then.

If it's all about views then he must be getting something out of it, so why make a video saying that he's making nothing out of it, why can he not just be honest
 
if he makes the €25 per 10k views Tom is saying he has made €22,621 over the last 2 years. but youtube don't instantly monetize your channel so odds are he's maybe made a bit more than half that.

From watching a lot of videos about youtube and people talking about how/what they do for his style of video things probably take three times as long to do for youtube as to just do them. he probably has a couple of grand invested between editing and cameras, plus his time so he's not getting rich off the views anyway. For a channel like that the money is in the endorsements and product placement, but having seen others online who are open with their numbers there's not much money in that either, mostly it's just the value/use you get from the product rather than getting paid as well. unless you have a lot of subscribers you're not going to be paid for placement as well as get the thing.

There's perks, but no one's getting rich from youtube at his level.
 
Evenflow on the other hand is making big money off his sketches . A 5 figure sum for a featuring a product in one video .

yeah? how many views is he getting on facebook? only relatively handy numbers on youtube, less than half of ifarmwefarm
 
250k on that vid on facebook . Now thats the figure i was told he got . 4 figure some to feature in shorter vid`s . He`s making enough he`s not bothering at the stone work .
